If you’ve been more than a little worried about what’s in your traditional deodorants and antiperspirants you’re not alone.
We are learning more about the toxic ingredients contained in standard deodorants and antiperspirants offered at our local grocery and drug stores. Not to mention the debate about weather commercially prepared deodorants and antiperspirants can lead to Alzheimer’s or breast cancer.
With that said it’s time to make the switch! Don’t worry it won’t be as hard as you think.
So here goes:
1. Give your pits some time to adjust. When you switch from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant, your glands and pores will start to unclog and function properly. During this transition, toxins are released and you may notice an increase of body odour. I mention this because not understanding the changes that are occurring may send you sprinting back to your commercially prepared antiperspirants and deodorants.
2. Give your natural deodorant 7-10 days.
3.Give your pits a good scrub using the dry-brushing method to unclog pores or while your in the shower gently exfoliate with a loofah or bath mitt.
4. Deodorize from the inside out using Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that stop body odour right at the source.
There you go, couldn’t be easier or healthier.
Make the switch, you know you want to, and it’s worth it!
